Autumn garden update 1

Just a short update on the autumn garden bed from the previous post.

The seeds I sowed have begun to germinate! The above are dwarf broccolis…

And then below we have some sugar snap peas.

There’s also a pic of the yellow capsicum plant (there are also three red capsicum plants that have capsicums growing on it).

And then as an additional bonus, my indoor Christmas cactus (Schlumbergera) seems to have buds on it! I missed the flowering period last year because I brought it home while it was blooming at the nursery, and the change in environment gave it such a shock that all its buds fell off. 😱 Given it’s been sitting in the lounge room next to the TV all this time, I’m hoping it’ll feel safe enough to bloom this year. 🤞🏼
