It’s that time of the year again!

Where has the year gone?? Or more or less, where did the last three months go??

I feel like five years worth of stuff happened this year, but then this last few months just whizzed past.

And now it’s that time of the year again. I swear it only feels like last week that I was putting these away… turns out it was a year ago. 😳

I bought this tree when I was still in my tiny apartment in Melbourne. It was a perfect size for that environment- not too tall, and not too wide. It was one of the last few items in stock, because I went shopping way too late in December. I think I went to three different vendors before I found it.

But with each subsequent move, my place of residence has only gotten bigger, so now it sits in quite an adorable fashion. The size of the room just making it appear even smaller than it is.

I have absolutely no desire to upsize- it’s a lovely tree, and I love all my decorations. The baubles are German and handmade glass baubles! But they’re small, so it wouldn’t look as nice on a bigger tree.

So the delightful, wee tree will sit. Bringing quiet joy to both myself and my partner each night. 🥰🎄
