Waiting for manuscript feedback like

Patience is a virtue… and it’s something I’m not good at- especially when it’s about something that’s out of my hands.

I currently have a manuscript undergoing revisions at a scientific journal, and I find myself refreshing the progress page quite frequently. I’m hoping it’ll get accepted soon, but I keep checking the page to see if anything has changed.

Given I’m one of those people that check the weather app quite frequently to see if there’s any rain on the way (in my defence, where I live is quite renowned for fickle weather- four seasons in a day), I think I’ll probably keep refreshing.

Waiting is hard!
